Province launches new Ontario Tourism and Travel Small Business Support Grant
TORONTO – Applications are open for eligible small businesses in tourism and travel industries. The Ontario government is providing one‐time payments of $10,000 to $20,000 to support eligible small tourism and travel businesses struggling to recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic through the new $100-million Ontario Tourism and Travel Small Business Support Grant. Minister Ng announces launch of Highly Affected Sectors Credit Availability Program

Applications now open for Ontario’s Small Business Support Grant
NEWS RELEASE – The Ontario government has opened applications for the new Ontario Small Business Support Grant. The grant, first announced in December, provides a minimum of $10,000 to a maximum of $20,000 to eligible small businesses who have had to restrict their operations due to the Provincewide Shutdown. NEWS RELEASE Dec. 22, 2020 – In an effort to flatten the second COVID-19 wave across Ontario, Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson said the Ontario government is taking the necessary steps to protect Ontarians. “I have spoken with our local medical officers of health as well as our municipal leaders. Government of Canada provides additional Relief Funding to Community Futures Huron
Community Futures Huron News Release Nov. 23, 2020 – Today, Community Futures Huron announces that businesses in the Huron County area may be eligible to benefit from additional relief funding through the Government of Canada’s Regional Relief and Recovery Fund. The Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF) provides liquidity support to businesses and not-for-profit organizations affected by the economic impacts of COVID-19, that are unable to access other federal relief measures, or require additional support. The Fund, valued at more than $1.5 billion nationally, is delivered by Canada’s regional development agencies.
