Rural Response to COVID-19 survey
In an effort to better understand how COVID-19 has impacted the day-to-day lives of residents in both Huron and Perth Counties, the Huron County Economic Development Department is asking YOU to participate in a survey – found here: https://linktr.ee/RURAL_RESPONSE Each household in Huron and Perth Counties has also been mailed one of these surveys, in order to ensure that no voice is left unheard! This survey is being conducted in partnership with United Way Perth-Huron, the Social Research and Planning Council, and researchers from the University of Guelph.

Huron Recovery Grant Program
Huron County Economic Development is pleased to announce the Huron Recovery Grant Program. The program is led by the Huron County Economic Development department, with $15,000 in funds provided through a partnership with Community Futures Huron. The Huron Recovery Grant Program will focus on supporting existing small businesses in Huron County that have to make significant changes as they pivot to maintain operations and adapt to COVID-19 realities. Grants of up to $2,500 will be awarded to eligible applicants to help offset costs associated with this transition.
