Government of Canada provides additional Relief Funding to Community Futures Huron
Community Futures Huron News Release Nov. 23, 2020 – Today, Community Futures Huron announces that businesses in the Huron County area may be eligible to benefit from additional relief funding through the Government of Canada’s Regional Relief and Recovery Fund. The Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF) provides liquidity support to businesses and not-for-profit organizations affected by the economic impacts of COVID-19, that are unable to access other federal relief measures, or require additional support. The Fund, valued at more than $1.5 billion nationally, is delivered by Canada’s regional development agencies. Starter Company Plus fall 2020 intake now open
FROM HURON COUNTY EC DEV, Nov., 12, 2020 – The fall 2020 Starter Company Plus program is now open, with a deadline for enrollment of November 25, 2020. The program will last approximately three months and will provide support for developing a business plan, access to training on all aspects of operating a business, ongoing support for running a business, and the potential to receive a $5,000 grant.
