    Digital Farm Gate, an RRRF Community-Based Business Project, expands on the work begun May 2020, when Community Futures Huron supported Huron County Farmers’ Markets and producers to pivot towards online sales and ecommerce as a solution for the restrictions caused by the Covid pandemic as part of the Libro Food Hub project. The Digital Farm Gate includes: The Rise and Shine newsletter targeting direct market producers and food processors and updating on the most relevant marketing and business support opportunities. A series of training and webinars related to E-commerce and other food business related topics.     The Huron Manufacturing Association (HMA) is a strong voice for manufacturing through the promotion of education, networking, celebrating the achievements of our membership.  Recently, the HMA received RRRF support for the Employee Attraction and Retention (EAR) Program through Community Futures Huron. Effective immediately Community Futures Huron is accepting applications for a new round of RRRF interest-free business loans up to $40,000. The Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF) 2.0 is a NEW round of the funding program offered through FedDev Ontario and Community Futures Ontario to provide financial assistance to small and medium-sized businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and who are unable to access the Government of Canada’s existing relief measures.
